Ellis Iddon
Obtaining a BA Hons degree Ellis began his career in Advertising,
graduating from Art Director to Creative Director within agencies based in Manchester
and London.
In 1990 Ellis merged IBH with the UK’s largest L&M company (Copyright Promotions Ltd).
As one of three founding executive directors he helped the merged group to float on the London Stock exchange (CPLG plc), to provide finance to expand the business into all major European countries.
During this period he co-founded Winklemania Productions.
Phil Meagher
Phil studied Copywriting at University and worked in the Pharmaceutical industry for several years before joining IBH to head up the client management team.
He partnered with Ellis to co-found Winklemania Productions.
Ellis Iddon and Phil Meagher met and became best friends at High School, in Liverpool. They developed an interest in writing music and at age 17 performed on Granada TV (ITV) and were subsequently offered a recording contract by a London Record Company. At 18 they left Liverpool and moved to the metropolis to record and write songs... Maybe they could be the next big thing?
But it was only a part of what they wanted to do; so Ellis attained a place at Art College and Phil at University and they continued to write music whenever they could get together.
Ellis went on to form IBH Group, a Brand Design and Communication business specialising in Branding and developing ancillary rights opportunities for Entertainment, manufacturing and retail industries. The company grew to become Europe's No.1 Agency in its field. During this period Phil joined IBH to help manage client communications.
Working with major North American Film Companies, Broadcasters, UK broadcasters and Publishers they gained extensive understanding of the process of shaping entertainment to work across all touch points.
In 1990 they co-founded Winklemania where they began to create International Content for Production and Transmedia... They also continue to produce key music
and soundtracks for many of the shows...
Well... They do still think they 18 after all!
